Holly likes Fair Haven immediately. It doesn't have the usual smells that one would normally associate with a nursing home. The air is fresh and clean and Mrs. Danforth is happy to see that Jim has come to visit at last, and says so. Holly might not have recognized Henry without help. She waited until the hand was done before introducing herself, but without telling Henry who she was to his grandson at first. She simply asks if they can talk. The rest at the table take a break and she begins to explain her presence there, telling him that she is in love with Jim and intends to spend the rest of her life with him, but needs to know some hard truths before that can...
