Act 2, Scene 3 Summary

Late at night, Edward, Lin and Victoria - all very drunk - come to the park and perform their version of an ancient ritual invoking the spirit of ancient female goddesses. Victoria, who's done a lot of reading on the subject, lapses into lectures about the origins of the various goddesses, while Lin keeps trying to get her to have sex. Edward suddenly sees someone coming, maybe a spirit; it turns out to be Martin. They pull him down and begin to have sex with him just as someone else approaches. This time it's an actual spirit, Lin's dead brother, who has come back to have sex one last time. Lin collapses, and the soldier disappears. Martin tries to get Victoria to come home with him, but she goes home with Edward and Lin. Martin goes home alone.
