Summary
In Fourteen, "The Gates of Cloud Cuckoo Land," though much of Diogenes's tale has been lost, Zeno has filled in some of the gaps. He infers that Aethon reaches the cloud city, where he drinks from "a river of steaming wine" (389). The place is so beautiful, Aethon is "delirious with joy" (389).
In "The Argos: Mission Year 64, Day 45 - Day 46 Inside Vault One," Konstance uses the library to research Diogenes's book. She finds many thinkers' interpretations of the text. Nothing provides her the information she desires. She wonders about the purpose of "all this knowledge" (394). Then she discovers that Zeno Ninis translated Diogeneses’s writing.
