Summary
In Chapter 30, Del and Faz next talked to Nicholas Evans, the dealer who had sold Allie and Welch the heroin. Del had proof of the sale through cell phone messages. Even though he was close to arresting the man who sold Allie the heroin that killed her, Del did not feel any sort of closure. He remembered that Celia had told him that revenge was a poor substitute for a loved one. Del wondered if his determination to find who had supplied Allie the drug that killed her was really about revenge and not about justice for Allie and peace for his sister.
