Summary

In Chapter 14, whenever Sean could not sleep, he scrolled “through Aoife’s [Facebook] timeline” (156). Although he “wasn’t supposed to know anything about her,” he wanted to know that she was okay (156).

Sean’s probation officer called to say he needed to pay his fine. Sean was still unsure where to get the money. He still had no work although he “had applied for every job” he could (157). Finally he got an interview with “a non-profit art organization” (158). Mairéad recommended he learn more about the organization and the artists they worked with. Although the interview went well at first, Sean realized they did not take him seriously. He received “the rejection email” later that day (162). Sean began to question himself.
