Chapters 15 - 16 Summary

Pickering is decrypting MAGIC messages. He said he wanted to see everything and he would decide what was important. He is working alone in the dungeon when he receives a call that Jack Stecker is waiting to see him. Pickering is happy to see him and brings him down to the dungeon, telling him not to ask what the various machines are. They talk about their families and Pickering tells Jack he can stay at the house with him.

When they leave the dungeon, they go to a church to attend a wedding. Pickering introduces Stecker to Commander Feldt, they head of the Coastwatchers Establishment. Steven Koffler and Daphne are married and after the reception, Feldt goes to the Cottage with Pickering.
