Summary
After a season of warm weather and little humidity, it showers on a Thursday. Denise stays home and Willa takes Airplane on a small walk. That afternoon, Denise wants to try driving. They only go around the block once before Denise asks Willa to continue being her chauffeur. Willa begins committing more to memory as she knows she will be leaving soon. Peter tells Willa to find someone else to drive and for Willa to leave over the weekend. He thinks she may turn right back around if he does not. He says he and the cactus are lonely, but Willa knows he is lying about the state of the cactus and asks him why the weekend matters so much to him since he is supposed to be retired. Peter then hangs up.
