Chapter 12 and Saturday, October 26 Summary

The Intranet club is working very hard on getting the site ready to go live. In between, Erin and Mark have been going to pickup games in the gym to relieve their stress. One of the guys in charge of updating the page on the school events, good-naturedly teases Erin about being an ear of corn in the play. After helping Jilly rehearse her lines, Erin gets Chris to drive her to the library. Chris waits in the car and when Erin returns with her library book, Chris is crouched down in the seat spying. Erin crouches down too and she spots the blonde girl her brother is spying on—Amanda Worthington. They watch as she walks with a boy, stops to kiss him and then continues to walk with him.
