Summary
In Chapter 5, “Run for It” (41), Scoob wakes up and he is alone in the RV. He hears some rustling around outside and looks out the window. He watches as G'ma steals a license plate from another RV and replaces her own with the stolen one. He wonders why she would be doing this, but when she reenters the RV, she acts like nothing is wrong. She tells Scoob she got a message from his father, who mentioned that he had tried to call Scoob directly but his phone went straight to voicemail. Scoob admits he left his cellphone at home. G'ma replies, “Looks like we're both trying to make a run for it” (48).
In Chapter 6, “A Good Thing” (49), they stop for gas and Scoob notices G'ma looks upset. She tells him she wants to show him something while they are in Birmingham. She...
