CivilWarLand, “CivilWarLand in Bad Decline”
CivilWarLand symbolizes greed and corporate malfeasance. The park is owned by Mr. Alsuga, a man who cares only for his own self-interests. He even goes so far as to hire a murderously violent man as a park security guard. Mr. Alsuga does everything he can to maximize profits and avoid consequences for his actions. Alsuga and his park represent the profound destruction that greed may cause.
Adoption, “Isabelle”
When the protagonist adopts Isabelle, the action symbolizes the triumph of love against hatred. Isabelle’s father, Split Lip, was a hateful and murderous man, although Split Lip worked hard to take care of and support Isabelle. The protagonist eventually also developed a sense of platonic love towards Isabelle.
