Summary
The protagonist/narrator of “The 400-Pound CEO” is Jeffrey, an employee at a pest control company called Humane Raccoon Alternatives. Jeffrey weighs 400 pounds. The company specializes in capturing raccoons. The company assures its customers that the raccoons are then humanely released into the wild. However, the employees know that the company actually kills the raccoons in inhumane ways and then buries them. The company’s CEO is a man named Tim. Tim is a very aggressive man. Years ago, Tim murdered someone; he was convicted on manslaughter and was in jail for a decade. Jeffrey is often harshly ridiculed by his coworkers about his weight.
