Summary

Chapter 19, Love and Blood – Clary tears apart Jace’s room looking for the ring. Sebastian announces the ceremony will be that night. She finds her ring inside Sebastian’s desk drawer. She then contacts Simon and reveals everything that has happened. Sebastian then interrupts her, revealing he knew all about the ring, and had used it to be in touch with the Seelie Queen. Clary punches Sebastian in the gut and runs. Sebastian grabs her, slams her into the wall, and causes her to drop Jace’s stele. Sebastian contends that Clary belongs to him. He begins to physically assault her, and throws her into a glass table. As he prepares to rape her, Clary grabs a piece of glass and drives it into his shoulder.
