Summary

Clary goes to the Lightwoods and tells them what happened with Valentine at the Accords Hall. Clary also tells them about the imposter. Everyone, especially Jace, wants to track Sebastian. They believe that Sebastian will lead him to Valentine, but none of the things Sebastian left behind belong to him. For that reason, the spell does not work. When they are done talking, Jace offers to walk Clary home while Simon remains behind to speak to Isabelle. When they arrive at the house, Jace notices a stain on Clary’s jacket sleeve and seems deeply interested to learn it is Sebastian’s blood.
