Summary

Clary begins to hallucinate as she and Luke walk to Idris. By the time they reach the city gate, Clary is beginning to have trouble distinguishing between reality and hallucination. Luke sneaks Clary into the city through an unguarded alley and takes her to his sister’s home. Luke has not seen his sister in many years, but she welcomes him and Clary into her home, helping Luke care for Clary.

Jace and Simon argue about Clary because Simon almost told everyone that Clary did not cancel her plans to come to Idris but was told the wrong time at which they would be leaving. Jace insists that he is only trying to protect Clary. When they return downstairs, Sebastian tries to draw Simon out, but instead he arouses Jace’s suspicions.
