Summary

Chapter 5, Hell Calls Hell – Kyle’s apartment meets with Simon’s approval, except for some kind of strange silvery plants on the fire escape. As Kyle heads out to work as a bike messenger, Simon falls into a fitful sleep, knowing that the Mark of the Wanderer means he will be a fugitive and a wanderer, though protected by God. Kyle returns at noon with food, but Simon isn’t hungry. Kyle asks about both of Simon’s girls. Kyle suggests picking one girl and just going with it. Simon says that Kyle is right. Simon then heads out to keep Clary and Maia company at their dress fitting for the wedding. Jocelyn and Luke meet them there. Maia is a member of Luke’s werewolf pack. As she heads out, Simon asks Luke about Camille.
