Chapter Eight, Chapter Nine, Chapter Ten, Chapter Eleven Summary

In Chapter Eight, Harkat, Darren and Mr. Crepsley are traveling through the mountains and into the forests. They carry spare bottles of blood and hunt for food. During the day they sleep hidden under bushes and the trees. Darren is glad to be out of the mountain. Mr. Crepsley tells Darren that Darren's initiation was unusual as most princes would travel the world for a few decades before settling down into royal duties. Because of the war Darren is unable to do that and so the traveling is nice for Darren even if it is dangerous since they are hunting the Vampaneze Lord. Darren has forgotten how noisy human civilization is with the cars and electricity and planes. Darren and Crepsley feed off a few humans when the humans...
