Summary
When Christopher awoke, the gallery was already open. He saw two strangers -- a woman drawing a vase and a man standing by a statue. He did not know which stranger to pick. The woman was closer, but he was not well-received by Amelia and Cordelia. He was so hungry and tired that he decided to pick the woman just because she was closer.
Luckily, the woman was kind. She talked to Christopher and knew he must be lost and hungry. She quickly broke up a cheese cracker and put it on the floor for him. The kind lady called the male stranger over to meet the mouse. Christopher learned their names were Walter and Abby. Abby suggested they take the little mouse home to their children.
