Cheri, Chapters 4, 5 and 6 Summary
Lea remembers her early days with Cheri during a summer spent at a country retreat in Normandy when she would feed him strawberries and cream and corn-fed chicken in attempts to fatten up his youthful, lanky frame. During one summer, Lea hires a former lover, Patron, to give Cheri boxing lessons.
