December 15, 2004 Summary

Jessie walks in on her parents having sex in the living room of their new home. Christmas sucks for Jessie. One present is a gift certificate for a mother-daughter spa day when she asked for books.

On New Year's Eve, Jess runs into Sara at the mall. Sara goes on and on about how she heard that William killed himself because he loved Jessie and Jessie didn't return his affections. Jessie denies this. She tells Sara that he died of an undetected heart defect, which is true. What she doesn't admit is that they did find unsent love letters to Jessie. When Jessie gets home, the final postcard from Marcus awaits her. It completes the statement, "I wish our love was right."
