Lincoln Moser
Lincoln Moser is one of the novel’s three point-of-view characters. At the age of 66, he is a commercial real estate broker who resides in Las Vegas. He is married and has children and grandchildren. He grew up in a small town in Arizona. His father was self-centered and domineering. The one time Lincoln’s mother stood up to Lincoln’s father was on the issue of Lincoln’s higher education. At the behest of his mother, Lincoln attended a highly ranked east coast liberal arts college called Minerva College. There, he became good friends with Teddy, Mickey, and Jacy. Lincoln developed romantic feelings for Jacy, but she was dating someone else. Thus, Lincoln began dating a fellow student named Anita, and they eventually married.
