Chapter 6
Pages 78 through 89 -- As Pohpoh leads Asha and their friend Boyie to the park one morning, they pass stray dogs sniffing each other and homeless men. Pohpoh flinches at the thought that Boyie might be catching a whiff of her scent. Though they are first to the park, hoping to lead the day's games, Walter Bissey and his gang of friends soon arrive, insisting on a game of Blind Man's Bluff, with Pohpoh as the blind man. Walter's presence excites and unnerves Pohpoh, leaving her with an urge to relieve herself. After some futile minutes, Pohpoh removes her blindfold to discover that Walter and his friends have tied up and gagged Asha and that Boyie has run off.
