Summary

Yadriel and his family gather at a church reception. His father is frustrated that Yadriel has been out at night so much recently, but one of his uncles covers for him. They are all worried about what happened to Miguel and why his spirit cannot contact them from the afterlife. They are also preparing to celebrate the Day of the Dead. Yadriel overhears his Tio Catriz imploring his father to accept Yadriel as his son and let go of following traditions so rigidly. Enrique refuses.
