Book 5 Summary

Bellini and his men are making their preparations for entering the interior of the Cathedral. Burke is with them. They are going through the elevator shaft to the Archbishop's sacristy. Bellini makes a comment about wondering if the doors are mined. They climb up the ladder dropped by an ESD man who went up first. Outside the door they hear footsteps and notice the lights going out. Bellini is then advised that the Fenians lit candles and flares inside.

They enter an opening to a small attic next to the triforium and move to their assigned spot. The Second Assault Squad is climbing through the chimney. They move into position ready to cross the roof when they can. The Third Assault Squad followed the second through the chimney but stopped at a lower level.
