Book 4, Chapter 41-45 Summary
Schroeder returns to the rectory office and tells Burke that he has to carry a television set to Flynn. Burke points out that Flynn didn't ask for a television right at the beginning. He is keeping the Fenians isolated so he is their only reality, is pointed out by Langley.
They call Flynn who tells them about Maureen being captured in the crawl space and that they are mining the entrance that she found so they can forget about using it. After talking to Flynn, Burke receives a call from police headquarters with information about Dan Morgan.
Maureen goes out and visits with Baxter and Murphy. Baxter says when everything settles down, they will try to escape again. The Cardinal still believes there will be a negotiated settlement but Maureen says that Hickey means to see them all dead...
