Book 4, Chapters 15-20 Summary
Burke pushes the Cathedral door, trying to open it. A voice from inside tells him that they are placing mines on the doors and to stay away. Inside, Brian is talking to John Hickey saying they bought themselves some time because the police are busy with the mob. They look at the blueprints for the structure and wonder if they can hold it and for how long. They look for ways that the police can enter the cathedral.
Megan is positioning people around the Cathedral, making sure they know what their orders are. She orders the men to chop wood and put it around the votive candles in case they have to burn the cathedral. Outside, Burke is positioning police officers at each of the cathedral's entrances.
