Part 2, Chapter 7, Nuclear Stability Summary
The Litch house progress is amazing by the following Saturday. Kate and Toby help clean windows while volunteers continue work on the house. Toby questions why the Litches didn't clean anything up after Charlie Litch, father and husband, had gone to jail. Kate surmises that it was a question of energy, time, and money.
That evening, as the volunteers eat, Mikey gets through his childproof gate and electrocutes himself. He dies instantly. It turns out that Mikey is Teri's son.
