Summary
Robert drove Margot home in silence and Margot once again wondered whether Robert might murder her. As she got out of the car, Robert told Margot that he had had a nice time and Margot said she had too. Robert got out of the car and kissed Margot and she silently longed for the kiss to end.
The next day, Robert continued texting Margot and she wondered how to end their connection. She considered just never responding to him but worried that might not work and that he would never give up. She composed break-up texts, edited them several times, but never sent them. Robert commented on the fact that she was not replying and Margot apologized and said she was just busy.
