Summary
At the next bar, Margot and Robert talked about movies and Margot worried that Robert was intimidated by her film knowledge. Margot made self-deprecating jokes in order to make Robert feel better. After a few drinks, Margot suggested they should go home together. Robert initially said that he would take her home because she was drunk, but Margot persisted and Robert changed his mind. Robert drove Margot to his house and she once again became concerned about her safety. She was relieved to see that his house seemed normal inside.
In the bedroom, as Robert go undressed, Margot reflected on the fact that she was not really attracted to him and that she did not want to have sex with him. Although she did not fear that Robert would hurt her or rape her, her concerns about what he would say to her and...
