Summary

Chapter 7 is titled “The Inspiration.” The title page shows Melvin and Naomi walking. Naomi seems happy and Melvin looks angry. Lil' Petey dismisses the meeting. A couple of frogs want to know if they are having their usual Friday party. Molly says Flippy will not allow it because they goofed off so much. The other frog say it was mostly Molly's and Melvin's fault. Molly has a sad look and says she feels terrible, but she is smiling when she walks away saying “I'm gonna go cry now” (143). Faced with the anger of the others, Melvin rushes to catch up with her. Naomi says she is going to the flea market to look for inspiration for her comic.
