An Individual's Ability to Influence Others
An "influencer" is a person who directs someone else to specific habits or actions. In this novel, several young characters learn about their ability to influence others, either directly or indirectly.
Naomi is a young frog who tends to be bossy and pushy. As the novel opens, she is involved in a heated argument with her sisters Starla and Summer. Naomi says they are supposed to be helping with a publishing project, but they have not really helped at all. Naomi's father, Flippy the fish, realizes Naomi needs to learn a better way to influence others. He gives her a book written by Dale Carnegie with advice on How to Win Friends and Influence People.
