Importance: Wendy and Raine are explaining why they chose to “spice up” their comic that is supposed to be the true story of Flippy's life. Flippy makes the point that saying things like this can be hurtful.

Everybody thinks I'm a good photographer … but really … most of the pictures I take aren't very good.”

Importance: Summer is sad because she takes so many photographs that do not turn out well. Sarah's cameraman says that all photographers take some bad pictures but only show the good ones. This is one of several examples of the need to keep trying in order to succeed.
