Summary

In Chapter 32, Artemis tells Cassandra that she sobered up after the funeral and attempted to apologize but Cassandra had already left. She spent the next years travelling, participating in detoxing spiritual rituals, and dating artists. In Chapter 33, Cassandra and Artemis are kicked out of the bar and drunkenly wander to the office building. In the office, Artemis tells Cassandra about Will. She does not feel the jealousy or intense heartbreak she expected. Later, she tells her sister about the time travel and Artemis believes her. Her sister teases her for using her power to see the future “to get a boy back and avoid awkward social situations” (302). Cassandra admits that she does not think the romantic relationship was what she needed to fix.
