Ainger Road

Ainger Road is the place where Dr. Collins Braithwaite's office is located. The office is simply referred to as Ainger Road throughout the novel. After the narrator becomes convinced that Braithwaite is responsible for her sister's suicide, she starts visiting Ainger Road once a week. During each of these visits, she spends the first several minutes in the waiting room with Daisy. When it is time for her appointment, she enters the confines of Braithwaite's office. Each of their sessions takes place in this location. When the narrator specifically attends to the description of the office, she mentions the furniture, its arrangement, and comfortability.
