The Power of Fates
Since it is believed that the fates of the members of the fated families are unalterable, many of the characters live as prisoners to their fates. Akos’ fate makes him believe that he will die a traitor to his country while Eijeh’s left him open to manipulation by Ryzek. Ori and Isae also suffer because of their fates, though they bear them bravely. Ryzek is the character who is most oppressed by his fate. It is said that he will fall to one of the Benesit sisters, the chancellor of Thuvhe. However, Ryzek is willing to do whatever it takes to overcome his fate and prove that he is not weak.
