Summary
In Chapter 29, narrated by Cyra, Cyra felt she had survived the night only because a stitching cloth had been applied to the wound on her face. She looked at the way the current ran over her skin instead of under it. The soldiers had told her that her heart stopped during the investigation. When it started again, the currents were outside her body. The pain was slightly more bearable.
