Summary

In Chapter 24, narrated by Cyra, Cyra thought about Akos’ kiss as she made her way toward Teka’s quarters. Once there she advised Teka that whatever they were planning to do to Ryzek, they should do it on the following day because things would be so disorganized because of the move from the sojourn ship back to Voa. They discussed the plan, in which Cyra had agreed to get the renegades into the Noavek manor if they would get Akos out.

That night, the plan went well until Cyra got the Ryzek’s room where the locks required Noavek blood. She tried the lock twice, but could not open it. When she realized what was happening, she sent Teka, Tos and Jorek out, hoping they could get Akos out and save their own lives. She knew it was too late for her...
