Summary

Chapter 29 – Baz makes a dramatic entrance into the dining hall, where his close friends Dev and Niall welcome him with open arms. Baz is amused to find a stunned Simon and Penelope watching him. He plays to Agatha by giving her a long look.

Chapter 30 – Baz knows he has much to make up for in the past eight weeks of absence, but he refuses to tell anyone he was kidnapped by numpties –large, stupid trolls. He also confirms to the reader that he is indeed a vampire, which he is still adjusting to. It was Baz’s Aunt Fiona who rescued him, saying the numpties kept changing what sort of ransom they wanted for Baz, leading Fiona to believe the numpties were acting on orders. In class, Baz delights in Simon glaring at him.
