Summary
Chapter 34 is written from Strike’s perspective. Strike rests his leg after following Mad Dad. He has given Robin three days off because her mother is coming to visit her. The fact that the second delivery was addressed to Robin worries him. As a result of the sending of the body parts, Strike now only has two clients. Wardle agrees not to tell the media about the receipt of the toe. As Strike sits and thinks, Wardle calls and says that the toe also belongs to Kelsey. Strike remembers that he has agreed to go and see Kelsey’s sister, Hazel, the next day.
