Summary
Chapter 19, “Workshop of the Telescopes,” is written from the killer’s perspective. He watches Robin as she watches Platinum. He notices that she is not her usual self and the absence of her engagement ring. He thinks that she may make the mistake of walking down a deserted street. He remembers how he had gotten his first victim and of when he had once seen a psychologist. He also thinks of his life growing up and how had had learned to box. Then Platinum begins to move and so does Robin. She follows Platinum as the killer follows her. Platinum goes into the club and the killer takes out his phone and hides in the doorway, watching Robin.
Chapter 20 is written from the perspective of both Robin and Strike. Robin notes that she has stayed out after dark. As she watches the club...
