Summary

Chapter 8 is written from the perspective of both Robin and Strike. Strike and Robin are working on two of the three cases Strike had before the delivery of the leg. Strike is following a man they call Mad Dad and Robin is following, Platinum, the girlfriend of the client they call Two-Times. Strike gets a break and meets Robin who is in a cafe. He tells her that they have just lost their third client because of the press Robin has gotten due to the delivery of the leg. Strike also tells her that he might have a lead on where Brockbank lives because he found the man who is the correct age with the correct middle initial.
