Summary

In Chapter 22, Scarlett wakes and Julian is still dead. She remembers his role in the dream and that the innkeeper had been shocked to see Julian arrive with Scarlett. She hesitates, but truly believes the game is playing with her mind. She has come to depend on Julian and needs him to be the man she now trusts rather than part of the game. From this point, she remembers that Legend has made women fall in love with him with disastrous results, and that Legend could be posing as Julian.
