Chapter 7 Summary

The group is silent as they head north toward the cove, but it is too dark for Rebecca to notice when they enter private territory. She is relieved when they see three people go behind a building, but as Karen suggests they abort, their raft is hit and they are all thrown into the water. David saw the beast and he worries about his team as he struggles to the surface. He tells his team to get to shore, expecting the creature's bite any moment though he cannot see it. Luckily, the entire team manages to escape the beast and get to shore. The group is at the bottom of a short angled drop in plain sight, and worried they have been seen or heard, they rush to the marina for cover. With the building only 10 meters away, David begins to feel hopeful...
