Point of View

The novel is written in first person from the limited perspective of Autumn Collins, a high school senior. In novels with limited perspectives, the reader has to evaluate the reliability and honesty of the narrator. In this case, that is Autumn. Autumn is young and inexperienced, which limits her perspective to an even greater degree. She is also coping with an anxiety disorder, which also affects her perspective.
