Rebirth, Chapters 20 through 28 Summary
In the twentieth chapter, Zen reveals that he has not been running around with cheerleaders as he's led Melody to believe. He says he has actually come to realize he can't stand being near her anymore without having her for his own. Melody wants to hear the rest of his confession but just then he's alerted to Harmony's use of the card and stays they have to go. In the twenty-first chapter, Zen and Melody find Harmony.
In the twenty-second chapter, Melody wishes they could communicate without talking but says that connection doesn't exist. They begin to talk about their feelings and Harmony admits that she'd originally thought she wanted to bring Harmony home with her, hoping that the two of them making a home together would fill a need for love Harmony has been missing.
