Bank
Most of the story takes place in a bank. Aesthetically, it is described as bearing architecture that is grand and reminiscent of classical aesthetics. While waiting in line at the bank, Anders remains consistently in his habitual mindset of frustration and dissatisfaction. He views the bank’s architecture as pompous and gaudy. When two armed robbers enter the bank in order to steal money, Anders repeatedly makes snarky remarks about the cliché aspects of the situation. One of the robbers shoots and kills Anders.

It was a day in summer when he and boys from the neighborhood gathered at a local baseball field to play baseball.
