Chapter 18 Summary
Mother Superior is certain Brother Timothy didn't run off for R&R as the police suggested; Odd agrees. He tells her about the seven bodachs in the children's recreation room. She suggests moving the kids, but Odd points out that this could play right into the problem. He asks her to trust him and issue an order for all to stay indoors and to lock and latch all entrances and windows.
Chapter 18 Analysis
Odd goes to Mother Superior's office and is reluctant to tell her too much. After a little small talk, she comes straight to the point and asks about Brother Timothy. Odd has to admit he doesn't know exactly what happened, but it wasn't anything good. He tells her about the four additional bodachs in the recreation room, and she suggests they should move the children, but Odd is worried it...
