If Summary

Along the journey out of the woods and back to where the rest of the pack was, Elena hears Clay is alive and falls back unconscious. When she wakes again, she is in bed and can hear Jeremy's voice in another room. Nick assures Elena that Jeremy and Tolliver are taking care of Clay. Elena wants to go to Clay but Nick persuades her to stay put.

Nick tells her that Clay was delirious from the fever and started to change. They had to sedate him. They have the fever down but it won't go away. Jeremy wants to wake Clay up so he can help them decide on his course of treatment. Jaime comes in the room, but says she needs to speak with Jeremy. She goes through the adjoin door.
