Medical Summary

Elena wakes from a nightmare and realizes that Clay is burning up with a fever. Jeremy checks Clay's fever and arm. While they are mopping him down with ice water, Jeremy tells Elena to call the sorcerer doctor to look at Clay's right arm, where the scratch is. Elena calls Zoe and she says she'll be right there with Tolliver.

Tolliver says the arm is infected. He gives Clay the choice for antibiotics or to remove some of the tissue. Removing some of the tissue might cause motor skill impairment, so Clay choose a stronger doe of antibiotics for now. Tolliver asks if the progression of infection is common in werewolves, but Clay says it isn't.
