Mick “Scorcher” Kennedy

Mick “Scorcher” Kennedy is a forty-something Irish murder detective who has fully dedicated his life to his demanding job. He is recently divorced and resolutely childless, living in a two-bedroom apartment in a flashy part of Dublin. He is average-looking, tending to dress very professionally and with a painstaking attention to detail. He often comes across as pompous and arrogant, but he is also self-aware and sometimes secretly insecure.
