Summary
When Kennedy arrived at Dublin Castle, his younger sister Dina was there waiting for him. Dina was beautiful, fairy-like and delicate, but she was mentally ill and deeply vulnerable, a trait her past abusive boyfriends exploited. She ran up to Kennedy and Richie and began explaining how the world kept spinning around her. Knowing he would need to care for her during this break with reality, Kennedy reluctantly asked Richie to do the stakeout alone then meet him for the 6 a.m. post-mortem. He took Dina to his apartment in the hip Financial Services Center of downtown Dublin. While Dina took a shower, he called his older sister Geri to see if she could take her off his hands while he worked the case. To his disappointment, her whole family was down with stomach flu.
